Cairns is a popular and vibrant cruise port, with the Cairns Cruise Liner Terminal located right in the heart of the city. It’s just a short 7–10 minute walk to the Cairns Marina and Reef Fleet Terminal – the main departure point for Great Barrier Reef and the many Cairns tours.
Cruise passengers can enjoy easy access to restaurants, shopping, and tour connections, all within walking distance of the terminal.
Yorkeys Knob Cruise Ship Tours - Shore excursions from Yorkeys Knob are limited, as many tour operators do not offer pick ups from this location, which is approximately 25 minutes north of Cairns. However, we can offer a Kuranda Tour with pick ups from Yorkeys Knob on select dates. Most cruise ships operate a shuttle service to and from Cairns to connect with the many Great Barrier Reef and Island tours.
